Texas True Choice, Inc. Acquires H.A.S.-Premier Providers, Inc. Plano, TX – Texas True Choice, Inc. (TTC), the state’s leading independently owned PPO access network, announced today that it has acquired the H.A.S.-Premier Providers, Inc. PPO network in Houston, Texas. H.A.S.-Premier Providers, Inc. is renowned as a physician-owned network with a twenty year history in the Greater Houston area. Michael Wilson, Texas True Choice’s President and CEO said, “We are very excited about the opportunity to integrate the H.A.S.-Premier network with the TTC network in the Houston area. H.A.S.-Premier has a stellar reputation as a quality provider network and should integrate very nicely with TTC’s “provider friendly” philosophy. The combination of the two networks will allow TTC to truly be the “premier” network in Houston.” Donald T. Benson, President and CEO of Health Administration Services (HAS), (the previous co-owner of H.A.S.-Premier Providers, Inc.), said, “We are fully supportive of the acquisition, and confident that the new relationship with TTC will have a positive effect on both our current and future clients.” TTC’s goal is to provide a seamless and positive integration of the H.A.S.-Premier Providers network with the existing TTC network. H.A.S.-Premier’s Houston area providers, combined with TTC’s current Houston network, will result in an overall increase of more than 1,300 additional providers in the Greater Houston area.
